What Facts

Students read ten factual statements about South America and determine whether each one is True or False. This reinforces concepts about the Amazon River, Andes Mountains, major countries, deserts, and cultural traditions. Learners must apply previously learned knowledge, distinguish correct information from misconceptions, and show accuracy in understanding geographical facts. The activity builds critical thinking and recall while strengthening confidence with content-based assessment. It can also be used as a pre- or post-unit evaluation.
