Grandmother’s Treasure

Students read a story about Sofia discovering a map in her grandmother’s attic and finding a hidden box with childhood treasures. Then they write a character letter from Sofia to her brother Mateo or vice versa. The letter must describe feelings, explain key events, and react to the discovery. Students also analyze how seeing the story through a character’s perspective deepens understanding. This activity strengthens narrative comprehension, character analysis, and functional writing skills.
