Character Dialogue Match

In this activity, students read a short dialogue between two friends, Mia and Tom, and match each sentence to the character who said it. This worksheet helps children understand how dialogue works within stories and improves comprehension of character voices. By associating quotes with speakers, students build awareness of punctuation in speech and narrative flow. The matching task encourages close reading, attention to detail, and understanding of social interaction through conversation.
