Symbol Analysis
Students read informational descriptions of four national symbols of Canada: the maple leaf, the beaver, the national flag, and the national anthem. They then answer analytical questions using complete sentences. The worksheet asks students to explain symbolism, infer meanings, and connect each symbol to Canadian values or history. This activity strengthens comprehension of informational texts and builds interpretive thinking. Students practice expressing ideas clearly while supporting their answers with details from the passage.
