Debating Space QAR
Students read a passage about the first spacewalk and determine the QAR type for each question provided. They must decide whether each question is Right There, Think and Search, Author and Me, or On My Own and justify their reasoning using evidence from the text or personal knowledge when appropriate. The worksheet also encourages classroom debate, helping students articulate their thinking and respond respectfully to differing opinions. This activity strengthens comprehension, analytical thinking, and collaborative discussion skills.
