Burning Questions

Students read a historical passage about the Great Fire of London and match each comprehension question to its correct answer. They then classify each question by QAR type, reinforcing their understanding of where answers come from. By examining Right There, Think and Search, Author and Me, and On My Own questions, students strengthen their comprehension and ability to differentiate literal, inferential, and opinion-based question formats. This activity encourages precision and clear reasoning.
