Rewrite for Cooperation
In this worksheet, students read a short dialogue between two classmates that demonstrates poor teamwork and negative communication. They are then asked to rewrite the entire conversation to show cooperation, respect, problem-solving, and polite language. This activity strengthens students’ ability to recognize unhelpful social interactions and transform them into positive ones. By crafting a new script, students practice empathy, conflict resolution, and effective communication skills. The open-ended writing space allows them to apply SEL concepts creatively while improving sentence structure and dialogue writing.
