Makeover Mission
This worksheet is designed for students in Grades 4, 5, and 6 to strengthen vocabulary, revision skills, and reading comprehension through purposeful narrative rewriting. Students read a short story and revise it by replacing selected plain verbs with stronger verbs that include prefixes such as re-, un-, and over-. After revising the passage, students answer comprehension questions that deepen understanding of character actions, cause and effect, and how prefixes change meaning, tone, and clarity.
