Dr. King’s Six Principles

Students read the six principles of nonviolence taught by Dr. King and then choose one principle to explore in a short reflective paragraph. They explain the principle in their own words and describe how it could be applied in their school, community, or the wider world. This worksheet promotes character education, ethical reasoning, and social-emotional learning while strengthening reflective writing skills. It encourages students to connect Dr. King’s teachings to practical ways of building peace and justice.
