Trace the Outcome

Students read short passages that each include a clear cause and multiple effects, then underline or highlight the effects. After analyzing the examples, learners write their own short passage with one cause and at least two effects. This activity helps students recognize how one event can trigger several related outcomes, strengthening comprehension and writing organization. It supports critical thinking by encouraging students to identify logical consequences within realistic contexts. The creative writing portion promotes expressive and structured composition.
