Better Apologies

Students are given several weak or incomplete apology statements and are asked to rewrite them to make them more sincere, responsible, and respectful. This exercise teaches learners how to craft apologies that acknowledge impact, take ownership of actions, and express genuine regret. By transforming poor apologies into stronger ones, students practice language skills and improve their understanding of effective interpersonal communication. The worksheet also encourages reflection on how tone and word choice shape relationships.
