Good and Bad Topics
Students read a series of short statements and decide whether each one is a good topic (“Talk It”) or not a good topic (“Not Talk It”) for school conversation. The exercise requires students to think about what is friendly, kind, and appropriate to share with classmates. They must evaluate tone, sensitivity, and social context, strengthening their ability to make respectful communication choices. This worksheet encourages critical thinking about boundaries, polite interactions, and how certain topics might make others uncomfortable. It also reinforces sentence comprehension and decision-making skills.
