Character Diary Voice Answer Key
Students choose a character from a movie, book, or TV show and answer preparation questions about the character’s personality, recent events, and feelings. They then write a first-person diary entry from that character’s point of view using appropriate pronouns, thoughts, and details. This activity teaches students how to adopt a character’s voice, express internal emotions, and maintain consistency in first-person narration. It strengthens empathy, creative thinking, and narrative voice development.
