Object’s Tale Answer Key

Students choose an everyday object-such as a backpack, pencil, or water bottle-and write a narrative from that object’s point of view. They first select their object, brainstorm key details about its life, and identify appropriate first-person pronouns. Then they write a story describing what the object sees, feels, or experiences during a normal day. This creative exercise teaches students to adopt unusual perspectives while applying consistent first-person voice. It also enhances their descriptive writing and imaginative thinking.
