Emotion Interpretation

Students read five showing sentences and decide which emotion is being expressed in each one. They must interpret physical reactions and behavior to identify the underlying feeling. This activity builds inferential reading skills and teaches students to look for subtle clues in narrative text. It reinforces understanding of how writers imply meaning through action rather than explicitly stating it. The exercise strengthens character analysis and emotional awareness.
