Writing Makeover

This worksheet shows students how Microsoft Copilot can transform a basic paragraph into different writing styles. Students begin by analyzing a casual “base” paragraph and taking notes on what makes it sound relaxed. Then they use Copilot to rewrite the paragraph in three new styles-formal, conversational, and persuasive-and finally with more vivid description. Students compare the versions and evaluate how tone, vocabulary, and clarity change across styles. This activity strengthens students’ ability to control tone in writing and helps them understand how AI can assist in stylistic revision.
