Chatterbox Sources

Students read a fictional conversation between a student and an AI tool about renewable energy. They identify which lines the student could appropriately quote in a research paper and which require citation of human sources. Learners also write both an APA and MLA citation for AI-generated paraphrase or explanation. The activity develops judgment about when AI can be quoted, paraphrased, or cited-and when it cannot.
