Clueless Chatbot Cases

Students examine five short case studies where a chatbot misunderstands tone, gives robotic answers, or misinterprets facts. They label each response as missing context, wrong information, confusing/off-topic, or actually helpful. Students then underline the specific part of the AI’s message that caused the issue and explain why. This activity develops text analysis skills and teaches learners to identify weak reasoning or flawed logic. It also helps students understand how easily chatbots can misread emotional and situational cues.
