Gerund Check-Up

In this worksheet, students review twelve sentences to determine whether gerunds and infinitives are used correctly. They must write “Correct” if the sentence is accurate, or rewrite it using the proper form if an error is present. This encourages students to examine verb patterns closely and recognize incorrect structures in context. The activity supports mastery of common verbs that require gerunds, those that require infinitives, and those that change meaning depending on the form used. Students practice editing skills by generating corrected versions of inaccurate sentences. This worksheet strengthens grammatical awareness and prepares students for more advanced error-correction tasks in writing.
