Through the Lens

In this descriptive writing worksheet, students observe illustrated scenarios and write short paragraphs interpreting what the characters might be feeling-without naming the emotion directly. Learners use sensory details, inner thoughts, posture, and expressions to “show” emotion as if describing a scene through a camera lens. This exercise strengthens observation, inference, and emotional expression skills while developing visual literacy in writing.
