Dialogue Correlatives

In this worksheet, students complete short dialogues between two speakers by filling in missing correlative conjunction pairs. Each set of lines requires learners to choose an appropriate pair-such as either…or, both…and, whether…or, or not only…but also-to make the dialogue flow naturally. This activity supports understanding of how correlative conjunctions function in conversational language rather than isolated sentences. Students must read carefully, infer tone and meaning, and select the conjunction pair that best fits the context. By completing the dialogues, learners build fluency, strengthen grammar usage, and practice maintaining parallel sentence structure.
