Gadget Contrast
Students begin by reading a compare-and-contrast prompt describing how a digital tablet and a spiral notebook differ. In Part A, they list three clear differences between the two items. In Part B, they select the strongest difference and explain why they believe it is the most significant. In Part C, students write a well-developed paragraph explaining the importance of that difference using at least two supporting details. This worksheet builds analytical thinking by teaching students to evaluate differences, prioritize information, and justify their choices with evidence. It also strengthens paragraph-writing skills and supports the development of logical reasoning within compare-and-contrast essays.
