Beowulf’s Journey in Order

Students examine ten major events from Beowulf presented out of sequence and must number them in correct chronological order. This task strengthens plot comprehension and helps learners better understand the structure of the epic. Students analyze cause-and-effect relationships while connecting key battles, turning points, and moments of character development. An optional extension asks learners to compare an early event with a later one, promoting deeper insight into thematic progression and character change.
