At the Moment
Students observe a real moment in their classroom environment and write one sentence describing what they are focusing on. They then list precise verbs and vivid adjectives related to the moment observed. Using those words, students write three to four descriptive sentences about the selected scene. This activity teaches students how to rely on specific verbs and adjectives to enhance their descriptions. It encourages real-time awareness, detail selection, and descriptive clarity.
