Pronoun Trackers
Students read short narrative excerpts and underline all pronouns that show the passage’s point of view. Because each excerpt may contain several pronouns, students must pay close attention to the narrator’s voice. The activity builds awareness of how pronoun use signals first-, second-, or third-person perspective. It strengthens reading analysis skills, helping students see how language choices reveal who is telling the story. This exercise lays groundwork for writing in consistent narrative viewpoints.
