Sparked Disagreements
Students choose one of five conflict-based scenarios and write a short dialogue that illustrates tension between characters. Each scenario provides a realistic school-related disagreement, prompting students to show conflict through word choice, tone, and dialogue tags. This activity develops students’ ability to imply emotions through conversations rather than stating them. Students also practice correct punctuation and formatting while crafting back-and-forth exchanges. The worksheet strengthens narrative skills by teaching how conflict drives dialogue and reveals character motivation.
