Truth vs. Myth
Students read ten statements about the American West and decide whether each one represents a Historical Fact (F) or Hollywood Myth (M). The worksheet helps students distinguish between accurate frontier history and exaggerated stories often shown in media. Reflection questions at the end ask students to identify which fact or myth surprised them and why separating myth from reality is important. This activity builds media literacy, critical evaluation skills, and historical accuracy.
