Leading With Character
Students read scenarios about Pilgrims building their new colony and identify which character trait-honesty, cooperation, responsibility, courage, or fairness-best fits each situation. They then explain their choice using a complete sentence. This worksheet reinforces civic virtues and how they relate to community-building. Learners make connections between character traits and the collaborative nature of the Mayflower Compact. The activity promotes empathy, decision-making, and responsible citizenship.
