Landform Match

In this worksheet, students match six famous landforms to the main erosion agent most responsible for forming them. Learners compare landforms like canyons, deltas, arches, dunes, valleys, and cliff faces with agents such as wind, ocean waves, rivers, glaciers, or gravity. This requires students to connect physical landscape features to the process that creates them. The activity reinforces knowledge of erosion types and helps students see erosion as a powerful sculptor of Earth’s surface. A bonus challenge asks students to explain, in one sentence each, how two landforms formed, strengthening scientific writing. The worksheet builds both classification and explanation skills.
