Sorting Pollution Sources

Students classify sixteen examples of pollution by labeling each one as air, water, soil, or noise pollution. They must read each item carefully and determine the category based on clues in the scenario. This sorting task strengthens students’ ability to analyze types of environmental contamination and understand the different forms pollution can take in daily life. By identifying real-world examples, students connect classroom learning to familiar situations. The bonus challenge encourages deeper reflection on how pollution affects people, animals, and the environment.
