Directional Shapes Tracing

Students trace a variety of shapes including arrows, circles, snowflake-style stars, and diamonds. Once tracing is complete, they color each figure according to the key, strengthening shape-to-color association and careful direction following. The inclusion of arrow shapes introduces orientation awareness, helping students observe directionality in geometric forms. Tracing encourages steady hand movement, while coloring supports visual-motor accuracy. This activity also develops the ability to distinguish between similar shapes with subtle differences.
