Character Letter Writing

This worksheet invites students to write a letter from the perspective of either Wilbur or Fern. Learners select one prompt and compose a paragraph-length letter expressing feelings, thoughts, and experiences based on events from Charlotte’s Web. Students must adopt the character’s voice while referencing specific story details, helping develop narrative writing and point-of-view awareness. The activity fosters empathy and creativity while reinforcing comprehension of the character’s role in the story. It also supports written expression and character-based analysis.
