Amusement Park Story
Students read six sentences describing events at an amusement park, but the sentences are out of order. They must reorganize the sentences by numbering them in the correct sequence. Afterward, students complete an extension writing task in which they retell the story in their own words using the simple past tense. This activity strengthens sequencing skills, past-tense verb accuracy, and narrative writing ability. Students learn to identify logical event order and express it coherently.
