Rewriting the Week

Students read a paragraph containing multiple tense errors and inconsistencies related to the present perfect continuous. Their task is to rewrite the entire passage correctly, fixing mistakes in auxiliary verbs, verb endings, and tense consistency. This exercise requires careful reading and editing, encouraging students to identify incorrect uses of have/has been + verb-ing. After revising the paragraph, students rewrite the corrected version in the lined space below. The worksheet strengthens proofreading skills, reinforces grammar accuracy, and helps students understand how ongoing actions must be expressed clearly and consistently in a longer text.
