Fact vs. Inference
In this worksheet, students read a passage explaining how language translation AI works and then distinguish factual statements from inferences based on the text. They list four facts explicitly stated in the passage and three inferences that can be reasonably drawn from the information provided. Students also answer a reflection question about why the distinction matters when learning about AI.
