Dear AI Designer

Students assume the role of an AI ethics consultant reviewing letters from inventors who created new AI systems. For each letter, students determine whether the AI is helpful, unhelpful, or requires human help. They then write advice explaining what the designer should improve. This encourages learners to analyze ethical concerns, fairness, privacy issues, and unintended consequences in AI systems. Students develop their reasoning skills and apply thoughtful critique to real-world AI design scenarios.
